Sunseeker 24m² Booth - JDC Garden Trend Trade Show

Sunseeker manufactures connected robotic mowers for green space maintenance professionals, sports clubs, and local authorities. At the JDC Garden Trend in Marseille, the brand made its debut at a French trade show. As a newcomer to the market with no prior brand awareness and a less-than-ideal location, their only way to stand out was to show the product in action, not just in pictures.

AUKARÉ
expertise

The challenge for AUKARÉ: turn a 24m² booth into a functional demonstration tool rather than a showroom. A robotic mower is a product that needs to be proven on the ground. Simply placing it on a counter with a glossy brochure wasn't an option. A demonstration area with an integrated slope takes up a third of the booth, allowing visitors to see the robot working on an incline, simulating real-world conditions. To save on technical flooring, electrical wiring was integrated into the overhead pergola rather than the floor.

Managing budget constraints like this is at the heart of our philosophy custom booth : every saving is built into the design, not forced during assembly.

What the team has created

AUKARÉ structured the booth around two distinct areas: the robot demonstration zone at the front, featuring an integrated slope to test the machine on inclines, and a sales area at the back, set against the storage wall under a pergola that decorates the ceiling with greenery and diffuses light. The backlit totem at the entrance, bearing the Sunseeker S logo, ensures visibility from the aisle without closing off the booth. The high-level sign is mounted perpendicular to the totem to capture attention from 360 degrees. Highlighting the partnership with the French Football Federation (Sunseeker became the official supplier of the French national football team in March 2026) and the captain of RC Toulon and French international rugby player, who has been the brand ambassador for Sunseeker Robotics in France since May 2025, immediately gives the brand the field-tested legitimacy that new entrants usually take years to build.

Architecture & materials
Two materials define the booth: grey melamine for all neutral supports, and blue-painted wood for all Sunseeker identity elements. The sign is made of Stadur, a 10mm PVC-like material that adds depth to the logo at a lower cost, mounted on a painted wooden frame. The overhead pergola integrates the electrical wiring, eliminating the need for technical flooring and avoiding extra costs.
Colors & identity
The Sunseeker blue of the painted wood contrasts with the neutral grey of the structure. The overall look remains understated and technical, consistent with a product aimed primarily at professionals. The greenery in the pergola adds a natural touch that evokes the garden world without resorting to the typical grass-green decor of the sector.
Technical features
The demonstration area with its integrated slope is the centerpiece of the booth: the machine climbs, turns, and handles the incline. It is a live demonstration that speaks for itself, eliminating the need for a sales pitch. The bar at the back of the booth, backed against the storage wall, keeps every square meter of the aisle clear for demonstrations.
Visitor experience & flow
The visitor journey was designed in three stages:
1. Long-distance attraction: the backlit totem at the front features the S logo, visible from the aisle, while the perpendicular high-level sign catches the attention of visitors walking in the opposite direction.
2. Invitation to enter: the robot in motion on the slope is visible from the aisle before even entering the booth. It is the booth's best salesperson.
3. Engagement and conversion: the commercial area under the pergola continues the conversation, featuring sports partnership elements to establish brand credibility.
